Nothing to wear? Resort-to-Fashion on Mustique
Once you have arrived and are settled time to explore the island. No need for lots of luggage here, life on the island is simple luxury. This is why I love the Caribbean so much. The color of the ocean, the blue sky against the expanse of the water, my feet in the soft white sand. Nothing compares. I took this picture standing on the beach, it is not color enhanced.
Even in paradise on a chic island you are not alone. Well almost. So you have to bring your best beach fashions or find great things to wear. One of my favorites on Mustique is my aqua bathing suit with the coral motif accessorized with a wrap from Belladonna. A look in aqua blue and coral and of course with some of my jewelry.
A necklace and bracelet from my Coral collections, by Jblu Jewelry, combined with the flowery fresh scent of ZARA White, Eau de Toilette. Of course, I cannot be without my Whittney sun glasses by Tom Ford.
If you didn’t have the time to pack a bikini and a sarong stop by at The Pink House for a tunic or a pair of espadrilles from Lotti Bunbury’s selection. Her shop Lotty B-Mustique is filled with Must have tuniques and sarongs. See @ lottib.com.
Some of my favorite Esscentials to wear on Mustique.
After getting a few tunics to throw over in the afternoons you need a stylish hat, may be in pale blue, or you may you want to opt for a woven panama hat in light green. Move on to the Purple House for a Panama hat and a pair of stylish sun glasses. Flip flops or sandals can be paired with a light airy printed dress from the Chanel cruise collection 2010, and a fun beach bag.
