The Olympics are not the only attraction in London this Summer.
The V&A Museum is celebrating British glamour and style since the 1950s, with its new exhibition Ballgowns.
The exhibition promises a glimpse into the elegant British life style from the late 50s into today. More than 60 ballgowns are on display. Photos of gowns in settings of grand English houses, a peek at royal balls of the past, and fabulous occasions, to great events of now.

So many gorgeous gowns, stylish photography, to see, all set in a grand stage setting. An array of colors, from the soft peach tulle adorned with sprays of glittering stones, to the sheen of satin in celery green, to silk satin volants and pleats in deep crimson, floating in the air light Sea blue silk chiffon, to strapless creations in deep blue purple shades, to velvet or satin in black and white, adorned with stones and crystals.

Some very famous royal dresses, dresses worn by celebrities, iconic dresses, dresses that caused a stir on the catwalk…
Definitely a must see if you are in London this Summer.
This exhibition is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Coutts.
Of course, I will make a stop at the V&A to see this fabulous exhibit. See you there next time…
Enjoy,
Jasmin
