Destination: India Diary My reverence to Incredible India. Today, our last day to enjoy the blooming trees, the gorgeous tropical flowers, and the pool at Taj Holiday Village.

Then too soon, the last evening arrives, a last walk, a dinner at La Caravella, the evening is memorable.

The next day, we depart India. Our adventure is over for now, but we will be coming back to India. Many more beautiful stones to find for my jewelry creations, more magical places to discover.

We leave India in awe, enriched, inspired to create, fascinated by the history, the beauty of the Indian people, the unbelievable workmanship in architecture, textile creations, and some of the traditions.

We are impressed by the way the Indian people look at the world. Their perspective is so different from our western ways, they feel a connection to the Eternal.

I will take my time to assimilate the impressions. I still see the colors, hear the sounds in my head.

I remember the fragrances of Incredible India, the sweet heavy smell of Tuberrose in the dewy morning in the gardens of the Taj, the whiff of Geranium in the hot afternoon sun amidst the fields at Yogamagic, the subtlety of blooming Frangipani trees in the tropical evening at the Taj Holiday Village.

I remember the Taj Mahal sitting in the dreamy evening light, at a distance, the softened lines fading into the night. This memory lingers.

My inspiration, filled with new dimensions, will guide me to create new jewelry collections, with the stones I selected in India. The design will touch on the philosophy and colors of India.

Shukria India!
