Looking at the new Fall 2011 collections, I am inspired to greater things. I want to revel in the colors and textures, the inspiration of classical themes revisited. A symphony of berry and sorbet colors in flowing chiffon at Lanvin.
In the end, I want to be motivated to rethink and to rearrange my own Fall wardrobe. I take in the myriad of textures and finish, not just the combination of different finishes in a garment, the juxtaposition and layering reveals so much of the sensitive hand of a designer.
