Now, that I have returned from Europe through JFK, the storm has arrived. Feel for New York, a cold Winter storm that seems to break all records. Just after I passed through. Lucky me!
With the monster storm blanketing the area, some of my Look boards that I had created some weeks ago with warm Wooly clothes, suddenly look far more appealing, than writing about my time on St. Barth. (My short trip to the Caribbean to enjoy some sun rays was over too soon. More about that in another post.)
So here is another look at my Mood Board for Woolies and wraps. This Mood Board will make you feel all warm. Fuzzy sweaters by Alice & Olivia in Winter white, a grey cable knit poncho in wide textured braids, soft white wraps, criss cross sweaters. I really like the fun Furry Chanel bag from a few Seasons back. Sorry, that bag is not for sale any more. I have added the Carine bag by Michael Kors for my Edit. This blue embossed Snake skin shoulder bag is one of my Favs.
I like the colorful playful Owl "bag bugs" by Fendi, so cheeky with their big eyes, I wish I had all of them. Thick textures can are perfect for layering, and to change a look, the sky blue cardi by A.N.A. with large cascading edges could be layered over a silk blouse, and it feels heavenly. The Shaker Stich Poncho in grey and black by Bloomingdale's is great to be layered over the soft Mohair sweater by Acne Studios.
A Rolled Turtleneck and a fringe sweater in charcoal by Topshop, feel so comfortable against smooth leather, or silk. The black fringe bag by Prada is perfect over your shoulder. One of the few fringe bags I like.
Some of my Curated Looks include the Leo pumps from Nine West that are part of my Must haves, even though the black furry fold over boots by UGGs are far more useful right now.
I am sure you will find plenty of time to take a walk outside, looking just as stylish in your soft sweater, wrap, and poncho.
Enjoy my Edit for Woolies to keep you warm during the storm. Have another cup of coffee and dive into the Winter fashion fun again. It is still January! Plenty of time to wear cashmere.
This storm will pass, my thoughts already swirl around beaches and another ocean breeze.
Enjoy,
Jasmin
