Her Collaboration is finally almost here! Victoria Beckham for Target.
VB designed a capsule collection inspired by her daughter Harper for Target. The secondary inspiration of course is Spring 2017. Bright colors, flowers, a cheeky look back at the 70s, and flower child fun.

I like the top and pants in Fuchsia with the 60s influence. The color block accents in the dress with the flirty ruffle is perfect for Spring. Some of the 70s inspired tops, the flowery top with the shorts already say beach time to me.
Spring is here in a bright way.
The inspiration for this collection was time spent with her daughter Harper. So a certain coordination of Looks are worked into the collection. VB is very passionate about this new collaboration. It is a departure from her other collections. It is more playful, centered on expressing the connection with her daughter Harper at a perfect time, in Spring. Elements of Flowers, bright colors, bees add a certain whimsy and loftyness.
In the interview VB talks about her inspiration, she is reminiscing about when her daughter was a toddler. This inspiration also led to the creation of outfits and Onesies to dress a baby.
My hope is, that this collaboration may evolve into more collections by VB with a broader appeal than her other collections, that have a more reduced and stark Look.
Who knows! This departure into a more fun filled design direction may show us another side of Victoria Beckham we have not seen yet. One we definitely love to connect with.
