For my Fall walk in the forest I choose classic pieces from my wardrobe, style them for today. I tie an Hermes scarf in a casual way, wear a cap in a rich berry blue. A comfortable Look, inspired by colors you can see in an Autumnal forest.
I add black equestrian inspired boots that have been in my closet for a while. You can choose boots from the new Fall collection, or put on a pair of your favorites. Combined with a longer length skirt, this keeps you warm against a cold breeze. Mine is a black cotton velvet skirt with high belt loops. Have a walk in a Fall forest, among falling leaves in shades of golden orange, deep reds, or burnished rust colors.
My Hermes scarf is an old favorite. It has been treasured since I bought it in Paris years ago. The design is based on a brass horse bridle with a deep teal border. Wear it over your cap. Everyone owns a cap, mine is berry blue, as in blueberry. Just rich.
Layered under a long coat, a cashmere sweater in celery green adds warmth. Choose a coat in pine green. My long coat is hunter green. This Look blends with the colors of the forest as they change from day to day. Walk along the pine trees, feel the squishy moss under your feet, the brush of the wind, smell the moist air. Indulge in the deep colors of this Fall season.
As we prepare for Thanksgiving, my thoughts wander, as my eyes gaze over the burnished colors. I feel awed by the bounty of this Fall season, as the gifts of the forest unfold.
This has been a year filled with astonishing experiences, days full of surprises. So many things to give thanks for, people to remember, recall places I have visited. This walk in the forest is filled with sweet memories and thoughts about how abundance touched my life.
A walk in a Fall forest can be a moment to review the past few months in our mind, we can all feel thankful for the joyful moments in our lives.
Best,
Jasmin
