Of course masks say Halloween, the nod to 50 Shades of Grey, or Black, hit me immediately. Slim figures caught in a cobweb, one trapped in a glass case, unable to move, black lace cover the eyes. Lips shut, dipped with black crystals. This was the scene at Saks 5th Avenue El Paseo, after I stepped through the large glass doors.

The Parker Topaz Chemise style dress on the first model is one of my Favs. The Art Deco influenced patterns, sequined beaded, bejeweled like an Art Deco wall, shimmered like stained glass. The cap sleeve, the very short style say party fun.

Next up, the Giovanna Embellished jumpsuit with a bustier in Art Deco style. Strapless is always good. Shows off toned shoulders and jewelry. The banded cuffs on the legs of the loose pants is a nice design detail, yet can be a bit too much.

When I stepped closer, I couldn’t miss the model caught in the steel glass box. She was wearing the jumpsuit by Haute Hippie, all black silk, silver Art Deco accents, on shoulders and waist. Loose fitting pants extending almost like a dress.
My kind of party girls, all silent, mysterious faces, ready to have fun, may be a private cocktail party peaked my imagination…
