On my stroll down El Paseo before leaving for Europe, I was impressed by the Escada windows, the Spring collection. Fun for a Black Tie Affair, just like the Reception at Sunnylands, for the Performing Arts Festival held in March. Wishing now I had worn this outfit. This skirt has an airy quality, it reminds me of parachute silk.
I was attending the Gala Evening at the McCullum Theater with Joy Flemming performing. I also had a bit of Serendipity, the chance to watch and hear her rehearse for this performance at the Rancho Mirage Library a few days before the event. What a special treat.

May be Chagoury and Escada had similar design inspiration. This is more elegant, not quite as edgy than Chagoury.
