By the pool at the Royal Caribbean Resort Hotel

To jet away for a few days into the sun shine, to Cancun was a great Getaway. The flight on American Airlines from Dallas DFW was such fun. We had the privilege to fly in Business Class with a very stylish flight attendant who treated us as VIPs. Champagne after take-off,

with a view over the ocean as we approached Cancun.

We stayed at the Resort Royal Caribbean, a room with pool view, luscious palms, Daiquiris at the bar every evening, before walking along the pool to the sister property, Royal Islander to eat at the restaurant. The walk back later at night, always seemed more romantic after a glass of wine.

Short trips to the shopping mall, Fashion Plaza with fun and friends. More shoes, this time Sales made shopping so much more fun. In the morning, a walk along the turquoise waters to find white shells and coral.

Thank you American Airlines. Cheers to a perfect Getaway to dip my toes into the ocean.
