We are out shopping around the old pink city and the newer shopping areas around Rajmandir. Today we are going back to Jemelli Market. Then on to the market in the Pink City, while walking through the market I look at fabrics and buy some traditional Radjastani shoes.
Later we stop at GOTAA, The Heritage Collection, next to the Rajmandir Cinema, a beautiful shop with Sarees, Punjabi suits, Lehengas, and Kaftans. I am dazzeled by the embroidered fabrics. I cannot resist and purchase two kaftans with traditional Radjastani pattern and in greens and pink and another one in aqua with golden detailing.
All this walking makes us very hungry. Lunch at the OM Tower, the revolving top shows a great view over Jaipur, stay long enough to have the top go around one time. Great food too. We have a large tray with Thali. Every restaurant and in different areas of the country Thali is prepared a little differently, with different spices and different selections in the little bowls on the large round tray.
