I love the cascade of color of some of the designers for Fall 2011. The bright tangerine of a wool bouclé coat at Bottega Veneta, the combination of fuscia and tangerine at Missoni. A boxy shaped coat with classic lines, in bright orange by Céline with a nod to the 80s.
Max Mara and Michael Kors reinterpreted sumptuous streamlined cashmere coats in Cognac. Bluemarine had a short flirty coat in lemon mint.
Christopher Baily for Burberry Prorsum, welcome to the 60s Brit chic!
Short coats in a tight silhouette with really wide arms, a sculptural cape look, with a micro quilt pattern. Coats with a small stand up collar, in celery, chamois, or with oversize check wool in black and purple, or orange and black. Others reminded me of a stylish and cool Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, or Charade, with her coats in bright colors and stand up colars.
These are some of my favorite 2 movies where Audrey is allowed to show her fun comical side. I wish I had more time to talk about her looks in that movie...
