Catch a whiff of Danger and Adventure
This Fall the collections bring back adventure and scoundrels. Ah, the whiff of danger, I fell for the romantic 70s style, reminiscent of the 3 Musqueteers, D’Artagnan, and his friends, Athos and Aramis. Lots of swashbuckling Bravado with big wide brimmed hats, wide belts, flowing capes, all booted up, rearing to go.
I am thinking especially about a look from Dior in shades of purple and berry. An array of glossy leather and coarse textures. A big flowing cape, all luxurious coming down the runway on a statuesque model with long red flowing hair.
I liked the mix of blueberry knee-high leather boots with the velvet finish of midnight blue pants tugged into the boots. The look is complete with a long sweater in a ripple weave a short leather jacket with an empire style flare in grape. The look is topped with a soft brim 70s hippie hat. The lusciousness of it all, I just wanted to touch that hat, the soft felt with the wide silk trim. I am sure I will be able to find a similar hat at Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s.
Definitely a Look I will incorporate into my Fall look.
Can’t wait to combine some midnight blue corduroy pants from my closet with tops and a sweater in Berry Blush or Pomegranate, and I must have such a soft Hippie hat in Blue Dusk. I already have a coat in espresso from last season, a mid-weight, this will get me from Fall to Winter in style.
Seeing this look, I felt inspired to create a new collection with some facetted and polished Sapphires, Amethysts and Smokey Quartz in espresso and lots more. See my new creations at Jasmin blu Jewelry, right here on this site ...
