Travel to the snow with Xmas joy in my heart
We traveled into the New Year from Dallas to Frankfurt. Then on to Switzerland. Happy New Year to all friends and readers who follow me on my adventures.
Lake view with snow dusting
Light snow had fallen on the lake. This view from the house to the mountains was majestic and calming.
Ice crystals glisten on the lake
The flight on American Airlines business class was comfortable, good food, the flight attendants had decorated the plane with silver stars, silver streamers. A toast with bubbly was the perfect start into the New Year and a new day. The champagne was Besserat de Bellefon Cuvée des Moines Brut. This champagne has a surprising taste with a certain spicyness and a finish of smoke. I liked it.
In the next few days I will take a walk, drive to Berne and enjoy the time in the snow.
