Resort Fashion in the 70s was so much more fun. I would love to wear the kaftan on that picture, or whatever you may call it, may be a throw, from the 70s. So skillfully photographed by Henry Clarke at the gorgeous Jag Mandir Palace Hotel on beautiful Lake Pichola, in Rajasthan, India.

Then, again, I would love to wear the kaftan from the Chanel Resort collection 2011. I think that was one of the best and wearable Resort Fashion collection by Karl Lagerfeld in a while. It still lingers in my memory, when more recent Resort Fashion collections have faded because of the unrealistic Flight of Fancy that makes the Look to comical or theatrical or plain too much of a Circus outfit. But no, that is for another post! I don't want to give away the compare and contrast planned for another time.
