On Oualie island fun

Inspired by the turquoise blue waters around Nevis, I chose the lyrical indigenous name for this island, Oualie, for these earrings. The name means Land of beautiful water.

Indeed, these waters have such a beautiful color. The large Amazonite drops have the color of the wake of a ship cruising in these waters. I had this idea when I was cruising alongside the island of Nevis, lounging on deck, at the stern of the ship, watching the ocean waters curl up in turquoise waves then cresting in white sparkles.
