The view at the Patio, at the beautiful Rancho Mirage Library.
One of my favorite places to relax in the late morning, to read, and to have an alfresco picnic lunch with fabulous scenery is the patio at the Rancho Mirage Library. The library is a small gem, architecturally significant, it reminds me of a design drawing I have seen by Donald Wexler, the architect who designed so many mid-century modern homes and buildings around Palm Springs.
The peace and quiet, the view, the joy of eating a home made sandwich and fresh fruit in this private enclave, surrounded by great books.
