More colorful irrational exuberance to be soaked up like sunshine, sequins, wild exotic prints and patterns, deconstructed shapes, cutouts, odd angles, fabric wrapping around the body in unexpected ways. Yes, this is Cavalli’s irepressed passion for color and prints, it wows me every time.
Roberto Cavalli’s designs always make me perky, the anticipation of party fun, they imbue a feeling of La Dolce Vita. I already fancy myself promenading on La Piazetta on Capri, then moving along onto tiny Via Le Botteghe to find the perfect sandals to go with that dress, I imagine myself drifting on to Via Camerelle, the shops, the fun… I can almost taste the delicious lemon sorbet.
But no, this vivacious display of Italian sexiness can be seen at Saks 5th Avenue El Paseo, in Palm Desert.
