Things that caught my eye on my last trip to Munich. Impressions of Christmas shop windows. Too many to recall them all, but a few were most memorable.
Next, the Heavenly Reindeers featured by Escada, the bright red dresses that offset the gold, creating a rich hue.
Of course I really liked the slightly Punk style of Versace, the modern furniture, the heavy jewelry, the sequins and exuberant colors. Gold and more Gold. An almost James Bond Golden Girl feel...
On the other side of Maximillianstrasse the mood was very different. More subtle and French, the suggested building facades of Dior, elegant with just a suggestion of Parisian life and party fun.
Chanel, almost boring, all too traditional, the Chanel look all too familiar, not at all the same young modern feeling of the print advertisements. I would have liked to see some of the more modern dresses and poses of the collection in the windows.
Of course there was so much too take in and to be dazzled.
The new Jimmy Choo store on Maximillianstrasse is just like a small precious jewelry box, with its sparkling modern chandelier reflecting in a myriad of lights in the mirrored walls.
The shoes seem to float, airy colorful works of art, with jewel accents, some of course almost impossible to wear, but to admire and to enjoy, just to take in the sheer creative design fancy.
I imagine myself wearing a pair of silver creations for a party with a Champagne glas in my hand. Oh, the perfect Accessory.
Hope you enjoy my photos,
Jasmin
