Now that I had time to review the fashion pages of the Fall collections 2011, I feel compelled to share my opinion.
See what I find truly wonderful, what I found to be inspiring, what elements I will be integrating in my Fall LOOK! There are so many fabulous looks to mention. Then again, Fall and Winter are here, many looks to try and explore many fashionable options to talk about.
Enjoy,
Jasmin
The collections this Fall have some of the most spectacular event and evening looks. Flowing chiffon in an array of colors with unexpected detailing and textures. A Fall/Winter evening look must have red, for festive drama.
Of course, for an effective entrance Red is the color, it is pure passion. For a theatrical finish Valentino Garavani always finished a presentation of his collections with a model in a red gown floating down the runway. This segment is dedicated to Red in its multitude of shades, from Raspberry to Crimson to Chilly Spice to a deep Cinnamon.
In true Valentino Garavani tradition, this time Gucci and Dior showed the most spectacular flowing chiffon evening looks in vivid red, crimson, rich cranberry.
Another look in the de Luxe category are the skillfully luscious draped cocktail dresses shown by Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. Very wearable for women with feminine bodies!
The fabrics hug the body, accentuate every curve with nips at the right spots while wowing the eye with spectacular color.
Lavin just sounds so luxurious and feminine, these colors, rich and yummy, raspberry sorbet, flame red, juicy melon, vanilla amber, pink champagne. I especially like the short silk gazar dresses, one with a full over sized loose pleat collar in watermelon, or another one in raspberry silk that can be perfectly accessorized with the Ouloulette fold over satin clutch with its playful black bow on the side.
