Can't balance this. Daphne Guinness in just another get up.
It is well known that Daphne Guinness is an eccentric Lady, surfing on the thin Fashion Edge. Being a longtime muse of Alexander Mc Queen in the past, we are used to seeing her in "creative" costumy outfits, that stretch the concept of art and fashion to delight our eyes. Her many Collaborations with brands are well known.
Usually, I can appreciate the artful creations that use her body or her hair as a foil to express a creative idea. This time I think this get up by Jean-Paul Gaultier is just plain silly.
May be, it is also a difficult balancing act getting down the stairs in those shoes. Or may be, she is caught in a rather awkward pose, or may be, the party lasted a few hours too long. Definitely, it is a dress that I do not want to see again.
